2013 was a big year for Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal. We can easily say that he deserves an award for the best comeback in 2013 because he was just a year before watching a 2012 US open finale from his room. The tournament he won the following year, coming back after his knee injury. He added this to Roland Gaross title, a trophy he won eight of the past nine times. The 2013 tennis season was complete, Novak Djokovic had won the Australian Open, and Andy Murray the title at the Wimbledon, and made the United Kingdom very proud. Nadal scores in 2013 were very impressive, he had recorded a 22-0 victory on a hard surface, and got to the second place at the ATP ranking list, following Djokovic who was in the first place.
Nadal had won thirteen Grand Slams titles, just one less than Pete Sampras, and four behind Roger Federer. 2013 was a big year for Novak Djokovic also. He had beat Andy Murray in four sets to win Australian Open, but later that year lost at the French Open from Rafael Nadal. In this year Stanislas Wawrinka had made one big change. He hired a new coach Magnus Norman, which brought a new list of good results on the court, like taking part in most important Grand Slam matches in 2013. In Australian Open he was beaten by the Novak Djokovic in the fourth round, but Djokovic later won the title and got defeated by Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinal of French Open. This year Wawrinka had won seven matches against players from top 10. That year for Roger Federer was not the best in his rich career. He lost in the third round of the US open from Tommy Robredo, a player he has beaten ten times. He did not reach any of the Grand Slams finales in 2013, and his best result was semifinals at Australian Open.

Federer came back and won Wimbledon after five years, even though he was seeded third. Federer also won a title at the Australian Open against Rafael Nadal in the final. Rafael Nadal triumphed at his favorite surface and won his 10th French Open title, and also US open title.
