Kas, Troicki capture first title in Bangkok

Unseeded Christopher Kas and Viktor Troicki won their first ATP World Tour doubles title together, defeating the first-time duo of #4 seed Jonathan Erlich and Jurgen Melzer 6-4, 6-4 in Sundays doubles final.
Unseeded Christopher Kas and Viktor Troicki won their first ATP World Tour doubles title together, defeating the first-time duo of #4 seed Jonathan Erlich and Jurgen Melzer 6-4, 6-4 in Sundays doubles final at the PTT Thailand Open 2010.

The German-Serb duo, who teamed up for the sixth time and the second time this year, broke their opponents three times and dropped just one service game en route to scoring the title. The pair improved to a 9-4 career mark.
Kas is now 3-8 lifetime in ATP World Tour finals, winning titles in Stuttgart in July 2008 and Halle in June 2009 (w/ Kohlschreiber) and Bangkok in October 2010 (w/ Troicki). It was Troickis first doubles final and victory. The Serbian was a runner-up in the singles in Bangkok last year (lost to Simon).
