The ATP Thailand Open returns to Bangkok in 2007 and leading the field will be the world’s two most exciting players.

World #2 Rafael Nadal and World #3 Andy Roddick have already confirmed their participation in the USD550,000 event which will be held from September 22-30. It will be Roddick’s second visit to Bangkok – he finished runner up in 2004 – and will be the first time Thailand has seen the Spanish bull Nadal in action. The two tennis giants join local hero Paradorn Srichaphan as the first confirmations for the 2007 tournament.

Apart from star players, the Thailand Open 2007 promises a host of new activities for sports and entertainment fans. The tournament has just launched its modern, new logo and will be running an extensive campaign of on-the-ground activities leading up to the tournament including interactive roadshows, the Thailand Open junior challenge, a Tennis Hot Shots program with the BMA and a new and exhilarating approach to the sport – Tennis in the Dark.

The tournament week will also feature some exciting new changes to increase the enjoyment of all in attendance including a Kidz Zone, additional VIP pavilion, model ball girls and a host of new entertainment options for fans.
