BEC-Tero Entertainment Pcl. has launched its new marketing campaign for the Thailand Open 2007 which includes the exciting “Tennis in the Dark”, an innovative way of enjoying tennis. The action takes place in darkness with the only illumination coming from UV lights. Lines, net, the ball, rackets and players’ outfits are fluorescent and glow under the UV light. The court size is slightly smaller than a normal tennis court and the rackets and balls are lighter enabling those who have never played tennis to participate. The game is played with pulsating dance music playing. This activity is planned as part of the promotional strategy leading up to this year's Thailand Open, which is aimed at attracting a greater number of teens than ever before.
